Paul Components Racer M Brake!

Following on the heels of the successful Racer is the leaner, meaner, racier <strong>Racer Medium</strong>. It's gotfantastic stopping power and thanks to the very stiff and short arms itmodulates that power better than any brake we've ever used. The RacerMedium is offered in both a center mount and a braze on configuration.<p></p><p>The <strong>Center Mount</strong> versionfeatures an additional bridge piece that runs between the pivots andallows the Racer Medium to mount to frames with a single brake mountinghole above the tire. The option is given for a shorter <strong>recessed</strong>bolt to work with modern frames, or a longer <strong>non-recessed</strong>bolt that works with older frames. In this setup the Racer Medium is a <strong>medium(or "standard") reach brake</strong> with a range of 47 to 57mm.</p><p>The Racer Medium come with all necessary hardware: mountingbolts, straddle wires, and cable carriers. Black or silver anodizationis available, along with a high polish finish.</p><p>Between the arms there is <strong>enough clearance tofit a 45mm fender and a 32mm tire</strong>. We think this is aperfect combination for an all-around-do-everything road bike if thereever was one. As a bonus, the brake will not pinch the side of thefender like dual pivot brakes do.</p><h4>Tech Info:</h4><table> <tbody> <tr> <td>Material:</td> <td>6061 Aluminum</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Weight (w/o pads):</td> <td><br />Center Mount 154g/wheel</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Finish:</td> <td>Anodized or High Polish</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Anodized Color:</td> <td>Black</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Cable Pull:</td> <td>Short Pull</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Reach:<br /> <em>(measured center mount bolt to pad)</em></td> <td>47mm - 57mm</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Instructions:</td> <td><a href="http://www.paulcomp.com/techdocs/racerm.pdf" target="blank">racerm.pdf</a></td> </tr> </tbody></table>
